First Irving Preschool

The preschool ministry at First Irving is designed for your child to grow just as Jesus grew, like Luke 2:52 tell us! He grew mentally (in wisdom), physically (in stature), socially/emotionally (in favor with man), and spiritually (in favor with God). On Sunday mornings, we seek to achieve this growth in your child through singing, dancing, and activity-based teaching that is always rooted in the Word of God. Our teaching is focused on helping your child understand these fundamental truths:

  • God Made Everything
  • God is in Charge of Everything
  • God is Good
  • Jesus Came to Save Sinners
  • God Wants to Talk With Us

Our Preschool Ministry start times are 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM, and 12:30 PM (Servicio Español).

Event Highlight

Join us for a weekend that aims to build up our church in the practice of our families being apart of the great commission in their neighborhood. Our goal is to bring the gospel into the everyday rhythms of life by pursuing the lost with your family. All are welcome to join us on this weekend, it doesn't matter if you're a parent, an uncle or aunt, a grandparent, or an adult preparing for the future. This conference is for anyone committed to passing on the Gospel to the next generation.

Dates: April 19-20

Cost: $20 per adult / $40 per couple

Family Discipleship

At First Irving, we want to partner with our parents. We believe that our time with your children each week is secondary to the Biblical teaching that takes place by parents at home. It is a privilege to get to pass on biblical lessons to your children here at church, but we know that God has given you an incredible calling as parents to teach your children the things of God, and train them up in the way they should go. Our hope then is to equip and provide you with the resources you need to be the spiritual leader for your child. Schooling

First Irving offers two distinct Christ-centered learning environments for your child. Our first is Kid's Day Out, which mirrors a "Mother's Day Out" program. Classes meet two days each week on Monday's and Friday's from 9:00 AM to 2:45 PM. Our second is Children's Discovery Center, which is a five day a week Christian Montessori based curriculum for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten beginning at age three years old through six year olds. Both of these schools are great ways to facilitate education centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
